How we help
Three ways forward, explained plainly
Everyone’s situation is different. On a free call we listen first, then explain which of these could fit you, and which would not.
Lower what you owe
For card, medical and other unsecured debt. A partner company negotiates with your creditors while you save in an account you own. No fees until a debt is settled and you approve it.
One simple payment
If your credit allows it, one loan can replace several bills, with one fixed payment each month. Approval and rates depend on the lender.
A budget that works
We can point you to free nonprofit credit counseling, where a certified counselor builds a monthly plan around your income.
Lowering what you owe: what to know first
This option is often called debt resolution or debt settlement. It can save money, but it is not right for everyone. We will always tell you:
- How long it takes. Most programs run about 2 to 4 years.
- How much to set aside. You save a monthly amount in an account in your name. You can withdraw it at any time.
- What it costs. No fee is charged until a debt is settled and you approve the settlement.
- The effect on your credit. Your credit score is likely to drop, especially at the start.
- The risks. Creditors do not have to agree, and some may keep collecting or file a lawsuit. Forgiven debt may be taxable.
Programs are provided by independent partner companies and are not available in every state.
Not sure which fits?
That is what the call is for. There is no cost, no pressure and nothing to sign. A family member is welcome to join.
